JOY

Luke 1:44, "For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting [Mary's greeting] sounded in my ears, the babe [little John] leaped in my womb for JOY."

The first response to Jesus was one of JOY.

Psalm 16:11, In Your presence is fullness of JOY.

Romans 14:17, For the KINGDOM of God is...righteousness, peace and JOY in the Holy Spirit. 

Colossians 1:13, For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the KINGDOM of his dear Son...

As believers we should be the most JOYFUL people on the planet. 

We can confuse happiness for joy.

"It is impossible to be JOYFUL and _______ at the same time."

December the 26th is the highest rated day for suicide in the United States.

Luke 1:47, My spirit finds its JOY in God my Savior.

Our joy is not determined by our circumstance, but by our TRUST.

Proverbs 16:20, ...those who TRUST in the Lord will by joyful.

Joy of our Salvation

Luke 1:25, "How kind the Lord is!  He has taken away my DISGRACE of having no children."

Hebrews 12, "for the joy that was set before Jesus, He endured the cross."
