Process: God's Design

Ephesians 2:1-18 NLT

Numbers 13:32-33 NLT
"...So they spread this bad report about the land among the Israelites: “The land we traveled through and explored will devour anyone who goes to live there. All the people we saw were huge. 33 We even saw giants there, the descendants of Anak. Next to them we felt like grasshoppers, and that’s what they thought, too!”

God has prepared you, he is preparing you, and He will be preparing you.

We will enter the different seasonal phases of our life. There are marked changes in our potential in each. What we do with the opportunity and potential is largely dependent on our personal journey with Jesus.

Where you receive your wisdom from will determine your contribution to those you have been trusted with. Joseph was trusted with all of pharaohs kingdom because he relentlessly pursued his relationship with God.

Joseph had wisdom that came from his persistent relationship with God.

This is not the arena of competition. Why are you competing with those around you?

Warrior 20’s + 30’s
THE PRIMARY BATTLE OF A WARRIOR IS A DEVELOPING CHARACTER.

2 Peter 1:3-9 NLT

Developing strong personal habits preferably of a kingdom nature. Am I going to cheat, lie, steal, covet, etc. Will I be honest? Will I honor?

Often unknowingly, but regardless wrestling with the principle found in the 10 commandments.

King – Generally 40’s + 50’s
KINGS PRIMARILY GATHER WARRIORS AROUND AND SPEAKS INTO THE LIVES OF WARRIORS OUT OF THE ABUNDANCE OF A KING.

A king begins to shift focus from the personal battles and numerous conquests of a warrior and prioritizes the experience gained through his own warrior years to empower another generation of warriors.

King Arther and the Knights of the round table.

This is not the arena of competition. Why are you competing with those around you?

My children are warriors, as a king I would not want to compete with their youth. I celebrate their strengths and battles won and equip them with strategy to win the next series of conquests. I must help them to see that truly they have what it takes to succeed!

Sage: Generally 60’s, 70’s and beyond
THE PRIMARY ROLE OF A SAGE IS TO GATHER KINGS AROUND THEM AND SPEAK INTO THEIR LIVES

  • A Sage brings wisdom and accountability to a generation of Kings
  • A king that has transitioned well to a sage understands the influence of being. Not so much about what you do but who you are. Presence...
  • Sage is actually a much bigger stage, combined seasons and years, coupled with deep relationship and experience has developed a world view that can shape the trajectory of nations
  • Not an irrelevant, retired old person put out to pasture to get out of the way of the warriors and kings

Psalm 139:13-18 NLT, Understand how amazing you are as handcrafted by God.
