Arm Yourself With Truth

Matthew 24:10-13 [NKJV], “And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.  And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

1 Timothy 4:1-2 [NKJV], Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their conscience seared with a hot iron…

Romans 1:25-32 [NLT], They traded the truth about God for a lie.  So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator Himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! 28 Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, He abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. 29 Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. 30 They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful.  They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. 31 They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. 32 They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway.  Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.

John 14:6 [NKJV], “I am the way, the TRUTH and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

John 8:44 [NKJV], When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

2 Corinthians 10:3-4 [NLT], We are human, but we don't wage war as humans do. 4 We use God's mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.

Ephesians 6:13-18 [NIV], Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 and pray in the Spirit on all occasions...

What is the SOURCE of your truth?

“Truth is God’s view on any subject.”

Psalm 119:89 [NKJV], Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven.

Psalm 119:105 [NKJV], Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
