Arming Yourself With Salvation

Ephesians 6:10-18 [NIV], Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 and pray in the Spirit on all occasions...

Psalm 78:9 [TPT], Take, for example, the sons of Ephraim.  Though they were all equipped warriors, each with weapons, when the battle began they retreated and ran away in fear.

1.  Wiles — “with a road.”

2.  Devices — “mind games.”

3.  Deception — “to bait or deceive with purpose.”

1 Corinthians 2:16 [NKJV], But we have the mind of Christ.

2 Timothy 1:7 [NKJV], For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Our salvation contains “forgiveness, healing, prosperity, deliverance, safety, freedom and restoration.”

Ephesians 6:11 [NKJV], Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

2 Corinthians 2:11 [NKJV], lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 [NKJV], For the weapons of our weapons are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Ephesians 6:17 [TPT], Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies.

1 Thessalonians 5:8 [TPT], But since we belong to the day, we must stay alert and clearheaded by placing the breastplate of faith and love over our hearts, and a helmet of the hope of salvation over our thoughts.
