Foundation: Building Blocks of the Faith: Week 7

Hebrews 6:1-2 (NKJV) Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

Matthew 25:31-34 (NLT) But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit upon His glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered in His presence, and He will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will place the sheep at His right hand and the goats at His left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world.

Matthew 25:41 (NLT) Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, 'Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire…’

Matthew 25:46 (NLT) And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life

Judgment “a decision resulting from an investigation.”

Romans 14:12 (NLT) Yes, each of us will give a personal account to God.

2 Timothy 4:8 (NKJV) Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Revelation 20:11-15 (NLT) And I saw a great white throne and the one sitting on it... 12 I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God's throne.  And the books were opened, including the Book of Life.  And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books. 13...And all were judged according to their deeds. …15 And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.
