"Behind every 'no' from God, He has a greater 'yes!'"

No
Selfishness
Isolation
Greed
Hate
Fear

YES
Serving
Community
Generosity
Love
Faith

Romans 6:11 [NLT], "So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus."

Through Jesus' sacrifice aren't we already positioned to receive all of God's promises?

We unlock the door to God's conditional promises when we say 'no' to what He says 'no' to and say 'yes' to His greater 'yes.'

Pastor Josiah Carle

Acts 2:42-47 TPT, “Every believer was faithfully devoted to following the teachings of the apostles. Their hearts were mutually linked to one another, sharing communion and coming together regularly for prayer. A deep sense of holy awe swept over everyone, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. All the believers were in fellowship as one body, and they shared with one another whatever they had. Out of generosity they even sold their assets to distribute the proceeds to those who were in need among them. Daily they met together in the temple courts and in one another’s homes to celebrate communion. They shared meals together with joyful hearts and tender humility. They were continually filled with praises to God, enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord kept adding to their number daily those who were coming to life.”

All throughout scripture, God continually pushes the theme of family, community.

Saying no to that community is saying no to part of His design for your life.

Psalms 133:1-3, "How truly wonderful and delightful to see brothers and sisters living together in sweet unity! It’s as precious as the sacred scented oil flowing from the head of the high priest Aaron, dripping down upon his beard and running all the way down to the hem of his priestly robes. This heavenly harmony can be compared to the dew dripping down from the skies upon Mount Hermon, refreshing the mountain slopes of Israel. For from this realm of sweet harmony God will release his eternal blessing, the promise of life forever!”

Church was never meant to be an event. It was designed to be a community of people doing life together as family.

John 3:16 [NLT], "For this is how God loved the world:  He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."

Luke 6:38 [NLT], "Give, and you will receive.  Your gift will return to you in full - pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap.  The amount you give will determine the amount you get back."
