God will only give us as much authority in the kingdom as we’re willing to submit to. Are we willing to lay aside a spirit of independence and find a place called dependency ... where we realize that, apart from God, "we can do nothing."
"A Place Called Dependency" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, March 21st, 2021, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
There is no doubt God is stirring the waters, so why don’t we all just make the decision to step in? The more emptiness we can present to God, the more of His fullness we can receive.
"Step In" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, March 14th, 2021, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
Tarrying is NOT meant to be a place of inactivity and frustration; that’s just what the enemy of our soul wants us to think. As we find ourselves waiting on God, may He grant us the ability to gain everything He wants us to gain from the times He calls us TO TARRY.
"To Tarry" by Worship Pastor Tommy Faulk was recorded on Sunday, March 7th, 2021, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
Jesus, as the sower has looked at you, has looked at this region and said I CAN SEE A HARVEST HERE. He has planted seed on purpose with purpose. He has called us to be rooted in Him and bear much fruit.
"Rooted" by guest speaker Candace Carle was recorded on Sunday, February 28th, 2021, during the 10:45 a.m. service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
“It is simply Jesus being Jesus, openly, honestly, loving all those who seek him earnestly, inviting them to take the next step down the narrow road of mirroring his love to the world as he mirrors the love of his father to us.“ (Reverend Dr. Eric Foley) The further we go in our walk with God, the less there is of us and the more there is of Him.
"There is More" by guest speaker Chris Heine was recorded on Sunday, February 28th, 2021, during the 9:30 a.m. service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
“Light yourself on fire with passion and people will come from miles to watch you burn.” (John Wesley) As the system of sacrifices and festivals in the Old Testament represented the blood, water and fire of Christ, they were only a preview of how the blood, water and fire of Christ can work PERSONALLY in and CHANGE our lives for Him today.
"Through Blood, Water & Fire" by guest speaker Dunkins Pierre was recorded on Sunday, February 28th, 2021, during the 8:15 a.m. service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES

"A Living Sacrifice" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, February 21st, 2021, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
God isn’t interested in playing second fiddle to anything or anyone. Let’s begin to consecrate ourselves and ask God for a first love that transcends all other affections, surpasses the love of things, is full of intensity, quality and purity, desires nothing more than to please Him, and is distraction-free!
"First Love" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, February 14th, 2021, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
We as the family of Christ must continue to "come to the table" and hear what the Lord is saying to us. Are we willing to eat what's being put on the table?
"The Table" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, February 7th, 2021, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
What good does it do for God to reveal things to us if we don’t do anything with it? True repentance isn’t just about coming clean… it’s about getting clean and staying clean.
"The Value of Repentance" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, January 31st, 2021, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. [SERMON NOTES*]1***
Revelation 19:7, “…and His bride has PREPARED herself.” In order to do this, we must allow God to refine us as pure gold... for He is returning for a PURE bride. May we become more desperate for a move of God; recognizing repentance is the key that unlocks it!
"Refiner's Fire" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, January 24th, 2021, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES

"An Appointed Time" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, January 17th, 2021, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
As we see things unfolding in our nation and our world; things we must fight against and in some instances, repent for, we need to remember the story is not over. Who God is remains unchanged as well as who He has called us to be. We must keep our eyes on Him, where our help comes from, and let the King of Glory come in… because He is the ONLY answer!
"The Story Isn't Over" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, January 10th, 2021, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
As we look through scripture, we see that when God sets things into order, many times, it is preceded by a time of shaking or unsettling. If we desire for Him to set things in order in our lives, we must continue to stay the course and trust Him in those times where things are being shaken. As He takes us through the shaking, He is bringing into order the things that can never be shaken.
"When Order Looks Different" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, January 3rd, 2021, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES

If we knew God was calling us to do something, would we do it? Before we rush to answer, let us remember there are things God has PICKED US to do as part of His plan for this world… but many times, it may not be the easiest route, or the safest way. If we knew it would cost us deeply, would we do it? As we dig deep and learn the lessons of Joseph and Mary, may our answer be a resounding “YES!”
"A Fresh Look" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, December 13, 2020, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
Do we treasure and honor God’s Word, voice and presence in our lives? Have they become common to us or are we treasuring them and walking in joyful submission and worship to Him? As followers of Christ, we need to know the amount of God’s influence and impact in our lives will be in direct proportion to our level of honor or dishonor we choose to walk in.
"Far Be It From Me" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, December 6, 2020, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
Paul reveals to us in Philippians 4 that he had to LEARN HOW to be content, meaning he didn’t start out that way. While that lets us know we are in good company if we struggle with a lack of contentment, it should also encourage us in realizing that if Paul LEARNED how to NOT stay there, we can learn and move on from that place as well.
"The Power of Contentment - Part 2" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, November 29, 2020, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
In Philippians 4:13, we read that we CAN do all things through Christ who strengthens us. If we look a little deeper in that verse, we see the principle of contentment and learn that this verse is more than a promise of accomplishing something difficult in Christ. We also see that the measure of joy in our lives isn’t determined by our current circumstances, but rather, our relationship with Christ.
"The Power of Contentment" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, November 22, 2020, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
The main reason God wants us to crucify our flesh and its desires, to renew our minds through His word and allow Him to heal us from the wounds of our past is because He wants us to be led by the Spirit. It is His desire that we, as His children, would be a people who are truly Spirit-led.
"Spirit, Soul, & Body - Part 5" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, November 15, 2020, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine.SERMON NOTES
Matthew 22:34-40 states the most important commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself. As a believer, that should be our greatest DESIRE, yet there is often a huge gap between that desire and how we walk it out in REALITY. The hidden truth is that the size of the gap between our desire and our reality is ultimately determined by the HEALTH of our SOULS.
"Spirit, Soul, & Body - Part 4" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, November 8, 2020, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
Our soul is the only part of our being where WE determine the RATE of its salvation and restoration. As such, we must let God's Word be planted in us and then obey it if we want to see true SOUL salvation. Every part of our soul will be affected if we allow the WORD of God to speak loud and clear.
"Spirit, Soul, & Body - Part 3" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, November 1, 2020, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
Your flesh is constantly at war with your spirit and if you don’t keep your spirit fed and strong, your flesh will win out every time. You are the only one who can decide who will win in this internal, spiritual tug-of-war. The law of sowing and reaping is an established one; what harvest will you eat from?
"Spirit, Soul, & Body - Part 2" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, October 25, 2020, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
God made us a three-part being; spirit, soul and body. Many times, we allow our souls; our own thoughts, wills and emotions, which are connected to our sin-nature, to dominate our Earthly bodies. God, who IS spirit (John 4:24), has called us instead to live this Earthly life from our spirits, as they are reborn and connected to Him and His life-giving, God-nature.
"Spirit, Soul, & Body" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, October 18, 2020, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
Have we ever considered that our freedom might be the VERY REASON for Christ’s divine rules … even the rules we don’t like? As we become more mature in our faith, we should be asking, “How can this rule help me get FREE from bondage?” or “How can observing this rule help PROTECT the freedom I HAVE?”
"Live Free" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, October 11, 2020, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
Along the path of discipleship, we will hear the call to SERVE! Jesus gave us an example to follow of serving by not only washing the feet of those He trusted, but also, the one who would betray Him... We are called to serve the least of these; we are called to serve as Jesus served.
"The Heart of a Disciple - Part 4" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, October 4, 2020, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
As we continue in our journey to be disciples, Jesus has called us to LEARN His ways. Our lives must show the proof of that learning by moving from a place of simply HEARING His Word to a place where we apply what we’ve learned and DO what His Word says.
"The Heart of a Disciple - Part 3" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, September 27, 2020, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
We have not been born again into God’s kingdom to be part of the problem, but rather, to be part of the solution for what He wants to accomplish in this day and age. This starts with having the heart of a disciple that, first, loves God, and then, loves each other!
"The Heart of a Disciple - Part 2" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, September 20, 2020, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
Jesus has invited us, not simply to know about Him and participate in a church service occasionally but, to have the heart of a disciple: to follow Him, become more like Him, and to make Him known!
“The Heart of a Disciple” by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, September 13, 2020, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
Jesus wants us to be His disciples; not just those who simply learn His teachings but those who are so close in relationship with Him that they actually want to become like Him. We must not settle for a life of spiritual mediocrity but accept His invitation to embrace the process and let Him transform us into all we truly can become in HIm.
“From Mediocrity to Maturity” by Pastor Quinton Self premiered on YouTube on Sunday, September 6th, 2020 for our ANCHOR At Home online church service. SERMON NOTES
If we serve God long enough, we will find ourselves in a wilderness. An important thing to consider at that moment is not that we are there because we did something wrong, but possibly, that we did something right. Our calling and anointing are not what change us; it's God working in us through the wilderness.
"The Wilderness" by Pastor Quinton Self was recorded on Sunday, August 30, 2020, during service at The Anchor Church in Rockport, Maine. SERMON NOTES
